Over 2,200 more Miyuki beads, straight from the catalog

Beadloo's Miyuki beads now come straight from Miyuki's own catalog. Delica grows from 1,917 to 2,131 colors and round rocailles from 1,857 to 3,862, across every size from 1/0 to 15/0, each with Miyuki's own number, photo and notes. Nothing was taken away: every bead you have ever drawn with is still there, so your patterns look exactly as they did.
- 2,131 Delica colors
- 3,862 round rocaille colors
- Round rocailles 1/0
- Square-hole colors
- Old numbers still found
- Discontinued beads marked
- Previews for big patterns

Filter the Colors panel by Cut, square hole or discontinued, together with the filters you already use. - Sizes and weights
Round rocailles 1/0, a corrected 6/0, and Delica Cut beads weighed by their own figure. - A fuller PDF key
The color key shows a bead's former number and its notes; the word chart prints the short numbers. - Preview and export, however big the pattern
The pattern preview works for large patterns and always shows your latest brush strokes. - Fixes
The eyedropper on round rocailles, previews with missing beads, and the Back button after signing out.
Your patterns are untouched
This update adds beads; it removes none and recolors none. A pattern drawn with an old round rocaille number keeps that number in your project and simply shows the bead under its official name. If you ever see something different, write to us.
The library
More beads, from Miyuki's own sources
Every Miyuki bead in Beadloo is now backed by a Miyuki document: the online directory, the official Delica list, the old-and-new color table, the printed GB-6 catalog, the 2007 conversion chart and Miyuki's sample cards. Shops were not used as a source. What that brings:
- Delica: 214 more colors across 8/0, 10/0, 11/0 and 15/0, among them the 51 colors Miyuki renumbered with a "-1" (such as DB 0106-1) with their sample-card photos, and all 156 Delica Cut colors.
- Round rocailles: 2,005 more colors across 1/0, 2/0, 5/0, 6/0, 8/0, 11/0 and 15/0, including the catalog colors that never made it to the online directory, the square-hole colors, the Mud Cover 15/0 series, and the colors Miyuki's 2007 chart proves at 11/0.
- Colors measured on the strand: colors read from sample-card photos are now measured on the beads themselves rather than the card, so they sit closer to the directory's colors.
Miyuki's numbers, and your old ones
- Renumbered Delica colors are two beads. Miyuki publishes DB 0106 and DB 0106-1 as separate colors, and so does Beadloo: a search for
106lists both, a favorite stays on the bead you saved it for, and the PDF key lists two rows. - Old round rocaille numbers find their bead. 227 numbers from Miyuki's old tables resolve to today's color: search
131Sor111and you get 1SH, whose popover reads "formerly 111, 131S". A project saved with the old number renders and prints as the official bead. - Search the way you write it.
db106-1,DB0106-1,0420and420all find their bead, and an exact match is listed first.
Know your bead
Select a bead and open its popover. Where Miyuki has something to say about it, you will read it there, each note beside a small warning sign:
- Discontinued by Miyuki. The color is no longer made. It stays in the library so your older patterns remain complete, and you can still draw with it.
- Approximate color. There is no official photo yet; the swatch is derived from a sibling color, as with the square-hole colors shown from their round-hole twins.
- Not verified. A handful of 11/0 colors (2041 to 2051) are listed by shops but not, so far, by Miyuki. They are in, and marked as such.
New filters
The Colors panel's filter gains an Other group: Cut and Discontinued for Delica, Square hole for round rocailles. Combine it with the glass and finish filters you already use; groups narrow each other down, so "Opaque" and "Square hole" together shows only opaque square-hole colors.
Sizes and weights
- Round rocailles 1/0 joins the sizes you can design with.
- 2/0 is labeled "unverified size" in the create dialog and the status bar, because Miyuki publishes only its diameter.
- 6/0 is corrected from 2.70 mm to 2.94 mm, Miyuki's figure. The previews of 6/0 projects are refreshed on their own.
- Delica Cut beads weigh their own figure. A pattern that mixes DB 0010 and DBC 0010 shows the right weight in the status bar, the weight estimate and the PDF.
A fuller PDF key
The color key leads a renamed bead's row with its former number, and ends it with its notes: "1SH · formerly 111, 131S · Transparent Silverline Silver · Square hole". The word chart and Craft mode print Miyuki's short forms, DB106-1 and DBC10, so a row reads the way a bead shop writes it. All of it is translated, so a Spanish account gets Spanish notes.
Preview and export
Preview and export, however big the pattern
Previewing a very large pattern (think 300 × 300 beads) used to fail with "Pattern composition failed". The preview is now rendered from your saved project, so it works at any size and comes back at once when nothing has changed.
Before it renders, the editor saves what you have just drawn, showing "Saving your latest changes..." for a moment, so the preview and the PDF always include your last brush strokes. If that save cannot go through, the dialog tells you instead of showing an older pattern. The PDF dialog also starts exactly one download each time you open it.
Fixes
- Eyedropper on round rocailles. Picking a round rocaille bead with the eyedropper cleared your selection instead of selecting the bead. It now picks the bead, and the color box opens the Colors panel when nothing is selected yet.
- Complete previews. The dashboard cards and the pattern preview drew blanks for beads new to the library. Every bead is drawn now.
- Back after signing out. Pressing Back after you log out no longer brings a signed-out copy of the dashboard back; you are sent to the login page.
- Duplicating a project that is gone now says so, rather than failing.
Try it now
Open the Colors panel in any Miyuki project and search for a color you know; then try its old number. We would love to hear which beads you were missing.
